The WADA Prohibited List

The WADA Prohibited List is the International Standard that identifies the substances and methods prohibited in- and out-of-competition. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is responsible for the preparation and publication of the List, which it updates every year effective January 1.

The current Prohibited List will remain in effect until December 31, 2020.

As of January 1, 2021, the 2021 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods comes into effect.

For more information on the 2021 Prohibited List, please visit the WADA media advisory.
