The APF Executive Committee has thoroughly assessed the current situation in Qatar (Doha) and across the West Asian region. Based on a comprehensive risk evaluation, consultations with key stakeholders, and the need to maintain activity within the region, the Committee has decided to relocate the 2026 APF Asian Bench Press Championships.
The 2026 APF Asian Bench Press Championships will now take place in Istanbul, Türkiye. The scheduled dates in September 2026 remain unchanged.
