Dear APF members and colleagues,
It gives me a great pleasure to continue my job in the Asian Powerlifting Federation as a new Secretary General. My experience in powerlifting started in 2006 and in 2015 I became Executive Committee Member of APF and IPF referee as well. During all these years I saw how important the role of Secretary General is. In all areas of management and direct communication with all members of Asian Region the Secretary General is a bridge between APF and member nations.
Powerlifting is the sport of strength and I believe that strength people can achieve great results actively working together. Asian Region is rapidly growing. Remembering 2019 we were surprised that we had lifters from 22 countries at the Asian Classic Powerlifting Championship in Kazakhstan and in 2022 we have participants from 29 countries in Dubai at the Asian Classic Powerlifting Championship and this is not a limit.
It is wonderful to see how new APF members get gold medals, such as Saudi Arabia that competes first time in the Asian Competition. I would like to thank all officials from the Asian region for your hard work for powerlifting and I am sure that together we will bring Asia on Top!
Our main role is to follow IPF standards and we will work very seriously with my colleagues to become a high quality & responsible organization for athletes and to provide high level of competition and drug-free sport. Once again thank you for your support and I look forward to see you in 2023!
