Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Aibek Abdymomunov meets APF Board
During the meeting, the development of powerlifting sports in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, as well as the prospects of participation of the Kyrgyz athletes in the APF competitions were discussed. Special attention was paid to the development of youth sports and creation of conditions for training new champions in the international arena.
Farshid Soltani assessed the level of development of powerlifting in Kyrgyzstan and said that the Asian Powerlifting Federation is ready to help to increase the popularity of this sport in the country. In his turn, Aibek Abdymomunov emphasized the importance of international cooperation for the development of sports and thanked the Asian and Kyrgyz powerlifting federations for their support and attention.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, and the parties expressed their readiness to work together on new projects aimed at strengthening cooperation and developing powerlifting.
