Applications from APF Member Nations to the IPF Trainer Education Course Level II.
Hosted by The Japan Powerlifting Federation.
Course Dates: 4th - 7th July 2025
Nine hours of lessons per day from 9 am to 6 pm (The 6th is 4pm to 9:30pm)with lunch break.(also 6th is Dinner ) 35 - 40% of the course time will be practical sessions with racks and weights. The teaching medium is English.
Suitable for: this course is designed to provide the participants with the basic skills and general knowledge required to work as an effective Powerlifting coach and athlete trainer. These basic skills and general knowledge touch on strength and powerlifting training and should support you effectively in your work but also give you the opportunity to provide a flexible working area within strength and powerlifting training. Furthermore, this education should help you to effectively achieve the goals set for the athletes as well as to look after their health aspects.

- Teaching lifting techniques: Squat, Bench-Press and Deadlift
- Training, Planning and Programming
- Competition Preparation and Coach’s Role on Competition Day
- Advanced training techniques
- Women’s consideration in strength training
- Stretching and injuries
- Equipped lifting
- Nutrition
- Anti-Doping and Refereeing Rules
- Bodyweight reduction the healthy way
- Written examination
The completed application form should be submitted by the President or Secretary General of each Member Nation to the course convenor, Ms. Misato Okamura (Email: misato1031(at)gmail.com).
Applications submitted by individuals must be accompanied by an endorsement letter from their Member Nation.
Application Deadline: 23rd June 2025
To ensure quality individual attention and interaction, especially during practical sessions, the course will accept a maximum of 30 participants.
Successful applicants will be notified individually.
Course fees must be paid no later than 27th June 2025. If payment is not received by the deadline, the slot will be given to a coach on the waiting list.
