It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that, on behalf of the Asian Powerlifting Federation (APF) and its Executive Committee, I extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Ramon Dabuque, one of the pioneers, distinguished champions, international referees, and respected leaders of Philippine powerlifting.
Ramon dedicated many valuable years of his life to the development and promotion of powerlifting. As an athlete, champion, international referee, Treasurer, and former Executive member of the APF, he made a lasting contribution to our sport and will be remembered with great respect by the Philippine powerlifting community and the entire Asian and international powerlifting family.
Our deepest condolences go to his family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
